With the third community map pack in "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive", US-American developer team Valve has started "Operation Phoenix". This map pack contains 8 community-created maps which are well known from the previous operations. The community could decide by voting which maps the pack should have. According to that, the maps "Ali", "Downtown", "Cache", "Seaside", "Motel", "Favela", "Thunder" and "Agency", on which you can play on official servers of Valve by purchasing an "Operation-Phoenix" pass (1,99€), have been chosen for the current operation. In addition to the map pack, you can drop boxes that contain 13 new weapon skins, however, you need a specific key (1,79€) to open a box. Those skins can be interchanged and sold via the community-market of gaming platform Steam. As in "Operation Bravo", there is a bronze medal which can be upgraded to silver and gold by play time and wins. You can also call up your statistics in order to find out the playtime and the wins.
The pass is only available till June 4, 2014.

ok most of the new map pack are reused, so the only real thing this update brings is more microtransaction skins. which look great, dont get me wrong, but valve spends their time adding this shit instead of fixing existing bugs like the random fps drops 1000s of players are having..

I only bought it because of Cache honestly, all of the maps were on old operations...

To my regret, no really important changes were made. A kind of waste of money for me.
