Server files & p-server

Now that I've seen an Aura Kingdom section, it made my day, lol. Thank you Shane. ;)

Anyway. I saw a thread from AuraKingdomPrivate that he had made a p-server for this game. I wonder if the server files will be released to the public. :3

no way... at least I hope so.
this game was designed for high player base, there is no point of creating lots of servers with max 20 players on each

I defintely agree with you on that, but there are other games with a high player base like WoW with p-servers, and I've been looking forward for this and maybe other people as well. But yea.. the owner of the files decides. :pimp:

they will never release those files, I'm sure about that

Wait! Isn't creating a private server a part of the legal issues since you take files from a company and emulate the same thing with modifications? But yea.. they may not. :3

Ofc it is. If this would be ever become sucessful with like 1000+ active players, Iam sure Aeriagames will get them.
However as for now, they are just small fries, not worth of doing anything.

You can also look at the Flyff Pserver history. First they were highly illegal and the first ones were shut down, by GalaLab. Then at some point, the pservers became more and more and at a point GalaLab didnt care anymore. Now pservers are a common thing for the game and even surpassed the original one in development.
