[Help] Building pc / barebone kit

Hello E*PVP and beyond!

I have a few questions to ask about a barebone's kit that I might consider buying online. Anyway, here are the few images for the 2 barebone kits I might consider buying.

If you need links for each one then here are the links.

Also, is there any suggestions that need to be made before buying both of these barebone kits? Because, this will be the first barebone kit I will buy and build by myself! :D

Anyway, in advance thanks for replying to my thread and helping me. :)

There is no graphic card in the second one. So it will not run. Also the sets are not very good. AMD CPU´s are very weak in video games.

Where are you from? Its better to build an own set in an online shop.

Very weak? Weak at worst, not ideal but usable.
These kits are at TigerDirect so I would assume he is from the USA.

Both are 389.99$ after rebate so you might want to spend 400$ or less on the parts, don't you?

Yes yes you are right. I am from USA as well. We'll AMD based are alright for me, I mean the processor is alright don't you think? How is the computer considered weak? I mean, I can buy more parts from Tiger Direct's site to become a good gaming rig, but what I want is to start out with a low end budget pc such as this, and add on to it later.

AMD CPU´s atre very weak in games. Also the more expensive ones.
If you wanna upgrade it later buy a socket 1150 system with a cheap i3 now and upgrade it later to a 4570 or xeon e3-1230v3

Can you give me an specific example on why the 1st bare bone kit is considered a bit "weakish" then? Does this mean I would have to get another good "amd" based processor? I've had intel's my entire life and I've decided to try AMD for a change, just to see the difference between the two. :)

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] is a CPu overview with the power of the CPU´s. It´s in german, but I´ll explain you the interesting part.

Scroll down until you come to part the where you see the graph with the names of the CPU´s.

Spiele means Gaming performance
Anwendungen means performance in programms like rendering a video
Gesammt means combined power (gaming + programms)

Of you click on it the graph will change and you can see the different performances

In games the fastest CPU for this AM3+ socket is not as fast as a small i3-4130 for the socket 1150. You can upgrade it later to a Xeon E3-1230V3 whitch is 30% faster than the FX8350.
So you see the AMD CPU´s are very weak.
Also the Graphics card in the fist setup is weak. A 7770 can olny run actual games on very low settings.
The Power Supplay is not good. I cant explan it in English but it can kill the other components in youre PC, because of missing security functions.

I see I see, so in other words I would have to buy a totally new processor, and possibly a new power supply? I see I see, along with a dvd drive that would be about a good $600+ usd...

Hmm, well thanks anyway. :D I think I have almost found the build I can possibly build for about $500 of course. ;) Thanks everyone for helping me out!

Moderators you can close this thread now if you want. :D
