use a other client (other soul.exe version ) ?
or assign admin rights + compitability to your soul.exe file ( should solve the problem)

ok can you try this please

download my client (feel free to test alpha to :P )
change oem.dat to your client version ( only oem.dat )
and try to create a mannequeen

if that works
then it is play.exe & soul.exe and then use those from my client

if that does not work
then lets continue

update your flash player in INTERNET EXPLORER
install NETFRAMEWORK ( dotnetfix) 3.5
Run play.exe as Administrator ( checkbox )

i can confirm that my client works on windows 2012 as i used it on my dedi for a testrun ( windows 8 )

also if you got differend windows , DO NOT RUN THE CLIENT IN A VM like vmware
virtual machines does not have all the hardware that those games use (sound driver , video driver and stuff ) so you need to use it on your root to get fully compitable

next step if still not working

Disable Antivirus/antispyware ( avast/norton and those stuff )
Disable Firewall
Disable everything of running programs ( skype/steam and all other stuff )
run client again
start enabling your programs again until crash , so you know what program need to be shutted down at all time

if that last solution does not work , try a fresh install of windows ( not vm ) and it should work ( flash + dotnetfix aka framework is a must )

if that still does not work , let me know and provide me a screenshot of your task manager (maybe low ram/high cpu ? )

hopely this can help

Sounds like a resource issue. When you login to mani' it will still keep processing your main character in the background. Try running 2 clients at the same time with two characters logged in and confirm that your client has no issues (including speed).
