Spec PC for hosting a p server

whats ideal, i have loads of computer parts all over the place as most geeks do *ahem*

i want to be able to build up a pc that i can leave on 24/7 that will handle hosting :handsdown:

make 1 gig ram of it. cpu should be at least 500mhz.
