Help With SQL server 2008 R2

when I try to install SQL 2008 R2 I get this error i have windows 8

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Create a shortcut for SQLEXPRWT_x64_ENU.exe (Or what you had)
Right-click on the shortcut and click "Properties"
Look for a box under the shortcut tab that says "Target"
Inside of the target box, add to whatever is already in there this line:
/Action=install /SKIPRULES=PerfMonCounterNotCorruptedCheck

it didnt work [Window Title]
Problem with Shortcut

The name '"C:\Users\win 8\Downloads\SQLEXPRWT_x64_ENU.exe"/Action=install' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

I think if you run a server then windows 7 or XP is better than windows 8 :D

any one here knows how to fix didnt work
