Question/Request for all you code savy people

Can someone make an exe that I can use to run Aion and connect to the current US beta servers? It has to bypass the launcher and just run the aion.bin file. I can make a text file as an exe with a command to run aion.bin and do what I need to do, but can't connect to any servers.

The reason for this is so I can run wegame with Aion. Wegame is a thing like fraps or xfire that records game videos. They don't currently officially support aion, however there's a trick you can do that will allow it to work by renaming the exe of whatever game you're playing to Quake3.exe. As I said before, if i do that with aion, it loads and I can get to the log in screen, but it won't connect.

Maybe I just need to put an IP address in the .exe?

there is a .vbs file which creates a .bat file which starts aion without the launcher. This works for the CH Client.
Don't know if it works for the EU one. Just try it :)

yeah i've had it work with .bat files just fine, however it has to be an .exe for wegame to hook. :(

asking somone to provide you with a .exe on these forums is alike to rolling out a red carpet into your computer for hackers - not a good idea unless you're into that kinda thing.

Do you guys have the correct IP for the East China region (region 4)?
Seems my problem is using the wrong IP address. when using the one from the gameguard thread linked above I can get it to work beautifully.

I think the ip is 116.211.29.109 port 2106

Yep you got it! I managed to find it too by watching peerguardian very closely when I tried to log in. Is there a list posted of all the servers so I can make a walkthrough for people who are on the other regions?

So, when I've got it so that Wegame is able to record, certain keyboard and mouse buttons don't work. For example, I can't adjust the camera, zooming in and out works with the scroll wheel, but rotating does nothing. Also my keybinding to fold the wings doesn't work, and I can't type anything in chat. Is that gameguard?

No that is not gameguard doing.

its gotta be gameguard, the only files that are being modified between starting the game with the launcher, and with the .bat are gameguard files.

hm.. unless it has to do with the aion.bin vs the same file renamed as quake3.exe. but aion.bin isn't getting modified. how odd.

and thanks for the list dude. i searched google but only found a partial list.
