How to play riven?

Well hi all out there! I try for a long time to play riven solo top(normal games) bur i fail hard... my build is good i farm well... but i dont get it what i am doing wrong? :/ anyone have some tips about her? and her skills! thnx for your time :)

Always start with ur Q and try to focus on a good early game cause she's pretty strong early. Firstbloods at lvl 2 with or without gank easy jobs :)

Watch Streams or Montage like Dyrus or BRNA to improve ur skill.

• Max Q first, E second
• Lvl 1 Q
• Lvl 2 E if vs ranged or high burst
• Lvl 2 W if vs melee or you feel like you get 100% fb / a kill
• Standart Combo is under my Nickname, there are many other combos ofc.
• Use auto attackst between every skill
• Learn to hop over walls to escape / chase
• We can't tell you what you are doing wrong if you don't tell us where your problems are. Early? Mid? Late? Lanematchups? Etc.

Try to aa between Q´s

The auto attacks do 60% or more of your damage because of your passive

Riven is a champ that is extremely good if you are mechanically skilled, not something I'd recommend if you are new to mechanical champions. How to get better with Riven though? I'd personally suggest watching VOD's of Riven players (BoxBox, Faker etc). Also read up about cancelling animations > different combos.

Hello ,i am playing riven for a long time and i hope i can help ya.The best thing u can do is to watch box box stream .He is streaming a lot so you can check some tricks.Its difficult to understand them ,but still u can try .Also try to figure out the build which is situational .(hydra rush or some armor sometimes) .Starting items and the flash use.

Riven has a load of hidden mechanics that make her op. Until you learn them you will never be amazing with her. A lot of things like using hydra to cancel animations, casting spells at the same time to shorten the cast animation, moving between every single Q, things you need to research to learn fully.

I suggest faker, his knowledge of the hero is second to none.

Riven is a champion you really need to have a feel for. To the point where you just know that you can kill or outtrade somebody. Learning her combo and working with animation cancelling makes this a lot easier.

In other words, play the shit out of Riven.
