if you are adding an exchange to an npc you are firstly going to want to go to
share/creature/npc.csv. Find the NPC you want to add the exchange to and go to column G and raise the job count by 1.
Then got to the next available JobType and enter the index 35. then go to the next column and add an index
(check available index's at data/script/string/stringtable_exchange.txt) while you are there add a new line as follows before the </cate> line.)

share/item/exchange.csv then do as follows:
Save all files and copy both the npc.csv and exchange.csv to you server share. you should have a functioning exchange.
