Imagine, this exploit was already available at the beginning, then it came out after a year or less, it was already benefited by those who knew it firsthand :D

Has it already been patched in others servers besides EU? It hasn't been patched in PH yet. I would also like to know how it was patched in EU, can anybody give me inputs? Like did the game update itself or was it just an update by Xtrap? Thanks.
I'm also planning on discussing ways on how to do someone122's method (asm, code caving, dll injection, proxy etc). So we can all learn from it and develop our own methods :D

I know how to program lol. I'm a computer science graduate so I at least know the pseudo code for those kinds of hack. I just don't have the right tools and time to do it.

The fix to re-allow the damage hack to work is a 1 byte change to the ASM :) oh and ill be editing the Basics of a Proxy thread again soon... Im still waiting for someone to take on the duties for teaching ollydbg and Cabal as I dont see I should have to explain both though...Quote:

Lol theres more to it than that ;) But yes I recommend that to nearlly everyone ^^ The Ollydbg and Cabal thread would have to be specifically for Cabal, i.e. teaching methods for finding useful information, i.e. which Switches are for what ingame, De-Parenthising the exe and other ways to customise the exe to be useful, also a brief guide to the basics of Detecting the packer and Unpacking the exe's themselves.... any n00b can upload the unpacked exe for others to leech, the proposed 2 threads will provide the information for people to do things themselves... meaning to more intelligent input and less leeches.Quote:
