Mysql error ???

when i'm tring to install mysql on my server i get the next error:

FATAL ERROR: Could not find ./bin/my_print_defaults

If you compiled from source, you need to run 'make install' to
copy the software into the correct location ready for operation.

If you are using a binary release, you must either be at the top
level of the extracted archive, or pass the --basedir option
pointing to that location.

I use freebsd 8.2. ( i just changed the version from 9.2 to 8.2 because leon SF dosen't work on 9.2)
The mysql is the one from leonmetin2.
I don't understand what i am doing wrong and why am i getting this error.
Please some help :handsdown: :D
