Invalid Client - Please Reinstall

Seems a few people are running into this error so I decided to make a quick thread to resolve it, this section is pretty much dead anyway so I doubt anyone will bother hitting me with the newspaper >.<

Basically if you are getting this error the easiest way to fix it is to just reinstall the game completely, let it patch up, load in fully to make sure it's synced up and then exit and re-modify your client.

Those of us using modified launcher.exe's in particular will probably be getting this problem, after all the game can't patch up to the latest version overly well (30% discount on cash-shop, woot) when you've modified or outright removed the default launcher! xD

Common sense really but this is the Internet and people seem to have a lot of trouble with basic things -shrug-

On a clean install the regular launcher should patch all the way to the latest version, after that you can throw in your unpacked dekaron's/modified launchers/GG bypasses and they should all run fine.

Making sure you're running the right launcher straight after install and not that of another copy of the game (since a few people have multiple game folders for WINHex editing etc)

Reinstalling is the easiest way to fix the problem, imo. It happens often when the game updates. Just do it and don't complain...

I kinda figured it was a patch that was buggering things up, but it's nice to see someone posting it for those of us who may not have had their morning coffee yet...

Delete EVERYTHING in your acclaim folder after the uninstall.
THEN re-install.
For me, it kept the Bin folder and another one that I forgot the name of.
Try that, it might do it.
