New Skylab Bot - Stratosphere - Discussion

Hey guys -

I am in the process of making a skylab bot with AutoIT. Current functionality is a very early alpha - logs into MY account ;) every time it needs to sell (calculated from last send) and sells/sends, given the position of the ship is already correct and the computer is awake. Obviously very basic at the moment. I'm currently working on incorporating:

-Image search for better login / getting rid of all those annoying event notifications
-Moving ship to sell coordinates
-Ability to wake computer (if asleep) to sell
-Detection of premium for sell timer
-Detection of ship
-Hangar change to ship with biggest cargo
-etc.

Currently being developed as best for a secondary computer... like the old, slow laptop I have sitting unused in my desk, so it can get my accounts credits while I'm away ;) Working on a primary computer might not be so good, as it could interfere if the user is on epvp trying to browse forums when it wants to sell prom. Virtual machines should work well in that case.

What else would you all like to see in a skylab bot? Any suggestions on where to split functions for premium/free versions? (For other programmers - Palavia, fuso98, bestbots, etc - what do you think the best monetization strategy is?) Thanks all - hope to be putting credits in your accounts very soon!

Does the bot for the skylab upgrade with WinHTTP or TCP, or is it also with ImageSearch?

Are you asking about upgrading modules? I planned on doing that with image search as well... added to list of things to do. Thanks.

It's better to do this with WinHttp, as its much faster and in background.

Okay - how can I incorporate that? PM me please! Sorry I'm not sure, just started programming AutoIT today... my experience is in C++/Python. :)

Just google WinHttp.
There you'll find a download of the include file.

With this you're able to send http requests in autoit.
