couple of questions

11/22/2013 15:17 i picked the red pill too#1
what is the equation of jumping not to get disconnected (distance vs time)
how many ms i need to wait from jump to attack and to jump again not to get disconnected/jailed
which would be best for a bot, coupled interactions tele, normal jump or flash step and why

If you're not tampering with timestamps or anything, somewhere around 600-700 ms delay between jumps would be ideal.

Edit:
You can't jump more than 18 "paces" or you will get disconnected. You can find the formula that is used in CO to calculate the distance between two points in any of the shitty private server sources here.

14-16 crosswise.

Thanks! I accidentally learned why I was getting DC`d lol. I was jumping 17, works like a charm with 14-16. It`s funny tho, I always thought it was 18, that was the value used in almost every server out there.

It's because 18 is the max distance the client can see. 14/16 is the maximum the client itself will allow you to jump legitimately.

As far as pserver checks 18 has always been 'fine' but yes, he is correct that the client cannot legitimately jump that far.

You can edit the client to jump 18 spaces without getting disconnected (or at least, used to be able to). I had it implemented in my create-a-client. But yes, 16 spaces is the farthest the unedited client will let you jump.

The OP is obviously talking about a proxy or some other sort of bot, I don't see what client checks have to do with this. 18 paces is the maximum distance the server will allow you to jump without disconnecting, no matter what.

Yeah, maybe because I've made like a fucking thousand bots for Conquer. A "block" in Conquer is 18 cells and that is the maximum distance one can jump without getting disconnected. FACT.
