so Daxter i have a suggestion for you :

If someone posts a post in an old thread (like 2010) will get infraction or warning.

this is annoying when people dont read the dates...

Or old topics will be automatically blocked after 6 months if nobody use them

As I already stated almost from the beginning, I only came here in order to get to know the enemy. Believe me, I'm not the only one.

Anyway, did I disturb you in any way? Is the world too small for the both of us, or what?

I'm with Jonathan, this is ridiculous.. if some kid posted in thread that's one year old, everybody goes insane, is like he comited a crime.. that's pathetic. Grow up.

actually it isnt good. 30 days without any activity=close is far more better imo.

Well... it depends if a thread is still disscussible... for example a thread about customized cars ... this thread can't be closed because there is always a way to discuss about it... but if this is posted several times then all except 1 gets closed to avoid spam in the forum.

all except the oldest one to be more precisely.

edit: i think there should be a little software about it. it can check the last post's posting date and/or edit date. by doing that you can get the latest activity and decide if it passes 30-days limit or not. if it passes the limit the software could close the thread. then the admins do the rest of the job. (like getting the dates from software and determine the oldest one and close other ones to prevent spam)(ıt can also check if it is closed or not.)(if closed = the next oldest one gets selected and other threads get closed)

I still don't get why everyone freaks out because of such a little thing. It really doesn't matter wether someone catches a quite old thread again or creates a new one, I am still missing the difference.
