Rare Steed Thread.

I made this Thread so everyone who has made a Rare Steed can post how they made them. Also if anybody knows any links which show how to make Rare Steeds would be really appreciated. :D.

You can make a rare steed like spaming horses like you spam mets for a soc.

Yeah, but I've tried all that. Used 300+ Saddles. And it's not down to luck. So if people could record what they do then post it here, it would be appreciated.

GM's lie, so people like YOU believe them and dont post how you made it. If you dont believe me try Black + 8x (Black + Maroon) + Maroon + (Black + Maroon). And you ALWAYS get an Indigo... + I have GM friends who told me that it isnt down to luck and TQ just dont want people telling other people how they made their rare steeds.

They really do lie. If you use an itemtype.dat decrypter/encrypter on mounttype.dat, you see that each horse has got specific colour values. Also, there is no "luck" involved in the colour values you get when breeding, or you could just look at the resulting horse in the breeding window, decide you don't like the result, close the window and try again, thereby getting your desired mount without wasting any saddles. So, there must be a formula to find out what colours you get, the only problem is that it apparently hasn't been found yet.

Is that Black+Black+Black+Black+Black+Black+Black+Black+(B lack+Maroon)+ Maroon + (Black +Maroon)? Or was it you just compose 8x Black horses together to make one really black one LOL. Im confused on the first step. Thanks.

I mean 8x of what you get when you breed Black + Maroon... XD.
