luck, you can get 1k, 1 met, 5 mets or db i think.

probably there is a db on one of the 1 bilion squamas ... but u can't get them all anyway.. so u won't fiind out... some of the don't appear some times...

well i went for squama hunt 2times and i got all of them i guess and i got 2dbs

All squamas apear in the same spots everyday just some times someone got there before you. Like i know for a fact the ones in twin get nabbed right away but to answer your question i dont think it garenteed to drop one everyday but i usually see one person a day get one on my server so its all odds and luck
