So, I guess the section was finally created! I've made this topic to stop countless threads being made regarding the release of the game, information, help and whatnot :)
I'm sure I heard somewhere that it was subscription based for something like $15 a month..Quote:
Wow. This was fast.
I expect much from the game and I really hope it'll be free.
I think that the subscription will create a few problems - One of them being the amount of users playing. I've always played Oblivion, Skyrim and the other Elder-Scrolls, but paying $15 a month to play it, I don't think it's worth it, personally.Quote:
Yeah, subscription model and micro transactions.
I don't think that the subsription model will cause problems, rather keep kids off the game. 15 bucks a month is actually fine for me (well, 13€ for me).Quote:

I definitely have to agree with this. Little frosty never wanted to play a game which you'd have to pay monthly, but I ended up playing World of Warcraft for various years and believe me: The support was great and the social-level of the discussion aswell as the general atmosphere was way better than in any free MMORPG I have ever played.Quote:

Gotta agree with Frosttall. The difference between Free-To-Play and subscription-based online games is fairly easy to notice once you've tried one game of each kind. I for one really don't care about the monthly fee. What's 15 bucks a month for a hobby? Nothing. Most smokers will spent more money for cigarettes within a week, just to give you a comparison.Quote:

Choosing an abonement-system was the right choice and I'm sure it will improve the game. Microtransactions are a topic which one could worry about, but I have no informations about in how far it will impact the gameplay and progress. Purchasing some style-gear or other fancy stuff which doesn't make you stronger, faster or whatever is completely fine. On the other hand would experience-flasks, damage-scrolls and other items which give you an advantage over "regular" players harm the game in long terms and I hope they won't add them.
Das steht im Forenlogin der übrigens nicht mehr funktioniert. Man kann sich offenbar nicht mehr im Forum einloggen um über aktuelle Vorschläge etc. zu diskutieren.Quote:
The beta forums will be closing at 11:59 PM EST tonight (1/12/14) when the test concludes. Please submit any bugs or feedback in-game via the /bug and /feedback forms before then. Thanks for helping us test ESO!
