How to counter leona

hello guys,
I often play ad carry, but i'm having a hard time countering leona. Got any advise for me?
I either see myself losing lots of farm out of fear getting stunned or i either get stunned and die in no time :/

Leona is for me the strongest Support in the Game. Its realy hard to play against her. You dont need to counter an Supp, play an ADC with an long Range like Caitlyn.

Leona counter = Janna, Mikaels Crucible, Scarf, Cleanse

supp with disengage like janna or alistar
leona is a beast when she can play aggressive

Poke the enemy adc and get a support with heal so you can poke him to death at lvl 1-6

Use your range. It's that simple.

You have to deny her from playing aggressive.
Keep your distance and let your support ward both brushes.

How about dodging her E? i mean if you got vision its pretty easy to dodge her E.
After that your support can still engage and trade. Leona is also weak at lvl 1 try to poke her and soak some potions at the early game.

Janna is a great counter actually

Everyone picking Janna against Leona just go full rtard sry.
Yes a good Janna can interupt Leona till lvl 6.
But once lvl 6 she can stunlock and burst the Janna instantly with help of their adc.

Actually there are plently of options:

1. Laneswaps. She is melee and of course weeker at taking Turrets, because she cant harras the zoned person under the turret.
2. Cleanse. Cleanse her ult so she will miss her e.
3. Lulu. Her early is so good that you can outzone the enemys and the ult helps a lot against leona. Dont forget to get bush control by using your wards correctly.
4. Stunlock the adc, so he cant develope dmg by using leonas passive. (Only available as ad kennen with a stunn supp)

Janna!

Morgana is a really good choise against her. today in ranked i got a varus leona bot and enemys were morg and draven. they raped hard~

U can even play Bitchcrank if u play aggressive on lv 1 cause if u get the dominate position on ur lane as bc leona is forced to be passive.

Draven is a good champ vs leona if you main ADC. Hes spinning axe is able to interrupt the E from leona. However this is hard to master and after 200 games in Diamond with leona ive only seen a handfull of dravens able to really do this. They however also managed to destroy bot lane because of it. Zyra, Sona, Janna and Thresh are good picks vs leona. Janna and Thresh can interupt her E and harass with auto attacks from a distance. Sona brings insane sustain and poke into the lane and Zyra just does more damage than leona so if she just focuses enemy ADC youll win trades.
However the strongest counterpick vs leona is indeed morgana. Her shield is able to counter every stun leona has and if you go morgana+caitlyn you have the ability to snare someone for 5secs and a strong pushing lane bot.
