Hey, sorry i know i'm a bit late on this thread but don't even try to host with 000webhost. I worked with them but i had lot of problems with patches !

Webs.com works nicely, and never had any problem.

It's very strange, i can go to cpanel and move folders, create and delete files ect...

can you post a screenshot?

My friend had this problem too but when he deleted his acccount and made another one it was different. But i didn't take a look on what he was doing.

When u go on "manage dashbord" next to the [Webs] button it redirects you to CPanel ?

there is a chance your host dont handle the patch corect when u are uploading,

there is a easy fix to this

download [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

select the patch and pick extract to folder

go to that folder, select the files and compress them using zip / deflate

upload the zip

rename the extention .zip to .patch

and try update

The issue is the way that you are creating your patches. Make your patch with Shaiya Make Tool, rename data to update and compress with 7z zip deflate. You shouldn't have any more issues unless you are making errors in your patches.
