Crashes on startup.

Win8 64bit, frameworks installed, no AV, running with admin rights.


Ran FF XIV in windowed mode, could see the login window for a second, but crashed after that.

Run it again .. :D

No ,really, if you have everything that was mentioned in the tutorial/guide installed and restarted your computer and REALLY DONT HAVE ANY AV, check for other overlay or performance/graphic enhancing tools like sweetfx, evga precission, msi afterburner and other stuff like that, they dont like minion, you need to deactivate/install these.
The thing works fine here and on multiple other user computers with win8 64bit.

I haven't even an AV installed, no overlay tool installed, graphics settings only in-game, no driver AA or something else.

Everything needed installed and up-to-date.

Maybe my system does help?

Same problem here. No firewall, no AV, crashes the game.

Still has to be an issue on your side... Teamviewer has shown that it is always something stupid, that was already handled in a tutorial/guide.

Let me use more detail in my post, sorry about that.

1. Make sure you have the latest updates of your Windows installed.
-ALL LATEST INSTALLED

2. You also need have Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime , Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 redist and Microsoft .NET Framework 4 installed.
-ALL 3 INSTALLED, LATEST VERSIONS AVAILABLE.

3. If you experience crashes while trying to start FFXIVMinion, try disabling / updating / replacing your Antivirus and/or Firewall. Some Antivirus tools pick up a false positive on FFXIVMinion, this is because how FFXIVMinion�s security works. The normal Microsoft Security Essentials Antivirus & Firewall for Windows does not have any issues, but some others like Antivir, Avira, Norton, Kaspersky ... can cause problems.
-WINDOWS FIREWALL OFF, ANTIVIRUS OFF, ALL SECURITY FEATURES DISABLED.

4. DON'T USE graphic enhancing tools like MSI AFTERBURNER, SWEETFX or EVGA Precision or similiar software!
-ALL GRAPHIC PROGRAMS DISABLED.

5. Windows XP has issue with the launcherpath, you need to run bot directly in ffxiv.exe folder as a workaround.
-WINDOWS 7, INVALID STEP.

The program is installed and updated to the latest version. I open FFXIV, log into my account and then into my character. Once in the game, I open the program with admin rights and the blue console comes up. After it says success, the console closes, the homepage for the program opens in Chrome and FFXIV crashes with no error, just closes. I've followed every step in the tutorial and yet it fails to initiate once in game. Is there anything else I should do besides the 5 steps given?

I highly doubt that it's something stupid already covered in the guide, seeing as every single person posting on the main site is having the exact issue I am.

Working fine for me on Windows 8, however it crashes a lot whenever i try to do some stuff with Meshes or Markers, seems to be kind of randomly tho, couldn't find out any pattern yet.

Pathing looks good so far, i only once had a problem where the char was moving against a stone, while moving to a fate. I'm really curious on how the gathering/fishing part will work out, as this is what i'm mostly interested in.

if im using a security token will i be able to use this?

this bot also disconect game in 30 minuts for afk, or this bot can be run 24/7 in background mode without dc?

INSTALL THE ONES FOR WIN 8 , the links are I thin leading to win7 stuff.. but idk 4 sure

how did you "check" that you have those installed ? especially the "Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime , Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 redist" should be downloaded and the install button pressed, since these can have older versions on your computer.

2nd point is the antivirus, which one are you using? if it is anything else but MSE, well you have your crashing reason :)
And yes, having Avira or kaspersky (or some others) and trying to "disable" them is no option sometimes, they have backgroud services running that still block/kill minion when you run it. The reason is that we are injecting in another process here and this is often used seen as a malicious behavior and totally blocked, you wont even get notified about that. Only option is replacing the AV with a less bitchy one (MSE for example)

I installed the bot with the Tutorial Guide, but he dont DO Fates... he attack mobs but DONT run to the Fates Areas... I think I dont understand the situation with the "markers" or so dont know. pls help

I know I have them installed because I downloaded all 3 from the links just in case and they wouldn't install because I have newer versions of all already installed. I like to keep up to date with all of my installations. And I have Avast, which I fully disabled, but I'm not sure if there's anything else to do with it.

Update: I uninstalled all antivirus and it still crashes without error.

I installed everything as stated in the forums, but can't get the bot to work.
The Mesh don't show up.. I got the bot to show the Mesh 1 time, but unfortunately the game crashes to desktop without any error after ~3 mins.
Does anyone have similiar problems or a solution?
