[Question] prot glaive?

I do know and always believed that glaiviers should wear garms , i kept defending that thought until i saw several pvp vids of force glaiviers "like me" who were very good and experienced 100 FF sun or +7+ players that really can handle their chars.

Anyway, i found out that most of them are wearing prot , and doing pretty good against bowers , bladers and warriors of same lvl and gear , so do u think it'll be better to wear prot instead of garms ??

I know that :

1. garms are for MP which STR chars lack , but i already have around 8k extra MP given by force.

2. INT chars will be harder to kill , well maybe , but i already can handle wizards easily , warlocks will got pilled and nukers' snow shield doesn't last that long.


I'm 100 HEU , 100 fire , 100 force.

Sure prot will be better in pvp and pve, but garms looks better °D and you get 10% more speed and mana but cuz ur force u got enough mana already so yea, go prot. Btw because u have force u can go 80 fire with 20 ice for better survival in critical situations.

I've been thinking about protector for my bower.

As a Fire/Force glaiver you will be slow as hell against phantom bowers and phantom nukers. But I'd say give it a try and see.

Hehe you guys forgetting the Phy reinforce, which does affect your phy dmg....
Prot will have higher Phy reinforce then garm : )

Also dont forget your build will die out at about lvl 130-150 : (
cos you will lose force....

Maybe better if you go for Prot atm cos its like in the middle of armor and garm ^^
And later change to Garm when you lose Force xD

my build will even die after 11D , i admit it , but that'll be in a long time , and most of us will be farming the new race chars anyway.

That made me think of keeping force at 80 , so i don't have to dlvl those 20 lvls in the future , only god and JM knows when.
