I'm not going to get into another one of these pointless arguments, I'll just leave it with saying that Non-Donators can get more than 100k Free-ZEN a day (not accounting for Gem Drops), while the most income comes from Goldshine-Donations which, actually, don't even provide any power at all. But again, won't argue any further.
I mean all you guys do is dream about some 100% No-Donation server, and that may exist for some games. But for BOI/WOI? Well, they require quite strong servers to run properly. So strong that whoever's hosting it - unless they have a very steady income elsewhere - would not be able to host a non-donation server for BOI/WOI. That's the whole problem. Unless they host it locally of course, but have fun with that Bandwidth-choking. The point being there will never be a server with a steady 1k+ playerbase where there are no donations at all, reason being what I just explained.
That's also why I find it quite unlikely for anyone to pick up on this idea as well, if there's no way to go profit on it due to expensive servers. I'd love to see an old-school PvP server again, hell, I'd even play it myself. They were good times, lots of memories.

well, any server/game with item mall system is doomed to be pay-4-power, in order to make fair boi server, it would require monthly fee or fee to create account.
tbh, i wouldn't mind playing on server where you have to spend 10-20 euros to create an account. server with no ZEN (with just few bound items for salary or something). server without weird horny kiddos, server where you look for a party to make LHE-gem-run rather than soloing it with alts o.0. server where everyone is equal.
but i don't think boi server like that would get more than 50-100 accounts;/ boi is and always will be pay for power type of a game;/

old servers were more challenging (and imo better) as having 5k zen made you rich and proud.
the funny thing is that when there was no ZEN, people 'demanded' more ZEN. now that there's tones of ZEN everywhere, people tasted the prosperity and got bored, they wish there was no ZEN at all :D

and those 10$ gave you so many possibilities! you had to choose if you wanna get a decent pet, gears+7, or sell zen for coins to buy some gems, SG or something! You had to decide on your path to power, and it surely didn't lead through opening 10k gem boxes:P
