They can not really care about detail. as an example:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
You see, the male 2handed attachment is too way bigger than the female's. when they should be at least same or like 3:2. Or maybe the image is stretched.

male/female attachments for avatars have always been shitty, I mean the difference between them.

No, that's just the image of the attachment viewed from a different angle. You can clearly see it in the screenshots you posted that the male and female attachments are the same.
