Mount Lineage?

So lots have been talking about the mounts and what not. I have a few questions still cause I haven't seen or heard anyone give straight answers to these yet.

Basically Lineage level is what the mount plus is right? What is the Lineage and does that have influence on Spook and WarCry? Is higher or Lower Lineage better? My understanding so far is that Lineage is just how many horses have been combined onto your horse to come up with it's color, is this correct? I'm also figuring Spook and Warcry are bout the Lineage level and not the Lineage.

I have seen people with really high Lineage, well over 300's, while my paisley horse is at Lineage 1. Is that bad or good?

I have heard conflicting things about both so if anyone could give any insight to this, that would be great. Thanks.

Lineage Level is the +n your horse is.
Lineage is the same as composition points.

However, if you have say a +6 horse, and your enemy has a +6 horse too, you will only be able to dismount him with the horse skills if your Lineage is higher than your enemy's.
