Does this only happen with games? For Windows 7 it will be a little harder for me to support since that product is still being rolled out and last I checked they only have the Release Candidate available right now which doesn't offer full support for everything yet. Driver updates usually resolve most gaming issues however, if that doesn't help let me know and we can go from there. Also, a list of games it happens on and what exactly occurs would be helpful.

Okay now Windows XP Vienna Edition.

games: Far Cry 2, Prototype, Hitman Blood Money;
Apps.: Microsoft Visual C# Express 2008 Windows Media player;

Sometimes Just in IDLE too...

the prob:

Apps/Games Freeze Then Mouse Freezes too.
I have a "Screenshot" for Like 2,5 minutes and then it goes Black.

I have no chassis on my pc all parts are in front of me

Temp: CPU 32° ( water cooling)
GPU: 25° (water)
Mainboard: 402° ::: nah joke 22°

All in Celsius.

u dont have to Convert to °F coz its really low temp.

Hmm yeah it sounds like all the temps are nominal.. and that wouldn't be a concern especially with water cooling.

Have you already tried updating your chipset and video card drivers? Also updating DirectX may help if that has not already been done.

Yeah i updated all im everytime up to date (btw i also tried the drivers from the last working state)

Try running a benchmarking utility like 3DMark just to stress the CPU and Video card.. and if that works without locking up then test your RAM.

Okeh Prime95 After 20h i stopped the test.... (nothing happend)
3dMark vantage , 06 Both looping for 8h. nothing only my Room is now a bit warmer :)

As i said it happens even it IDLE sometimes, sometimes not

I had the same sometime ago, but this was only my anti virus programm.

After 45 minutes my pc freezed and I had to push the power button.

Maybe some driver problems or the RAM, like Night Dragon said already.

Ram test showed me a corrupt sector at the 7,8 GB area (well now i know how it happened every time....)

Prob is i have 8 Gig ram and they aren full everytime xD but if i play a game and have in background other games Firefox and all shit (no i never close programs i opened :D)

sometimes it reached that value and it crashed.....

I upgraded to 12GB ram now :)
