to make the long story short , i will go into the topic directly .
i want someone who is very expert in programming , to teach me about the encryption , everything about it , i don't want that for only conquer but i want to know it in general , u can pick any other program for teaching , even if that program was chat program such as Skype . ... that will be for money
so what i want from you who think himself is expert enough to teach me is . to tell me your plan for the teaching and also the expected total cost that you willing to charge me . with consider to that i will deliver money in 3 parts the first part will be after lesson 3 .. and 2nd part will be after the lesson plan ends the 3rd part will be after u give me exams and i pass them .
and the money transfer will be western union

You need to learn programming in general, and the way of thinking; not someone who expalins how an encryption works - that will come in time.

Not really. Cryptography is mainly math and logic. You can teach it conceptually to someone who barely knows programming and never discuss implementation.

That being said, there are only a handful of people here who could really go in-depth with cryptography like that. I'm not one of them.

Just take some free university courses online covering programming, math and cryptography.

Sites like coursera offer hundreds of university level courses from highly respected educators every year and it's all 100% free.

Thanks alot for all who replied me , and i will check the coursera site , but i have some basics about programming in general . and its not that i wanted to know what is encryption and math ( even i need it too ) but ... i wanted to know how to find the encryption and make my own full programmed exe to communicate with the orignal program with the (hidden) encryption ... how to know what with and so on . just like what you guys do with conquer kinda like find the encryption and then program ur own codes to make a proxy or something alike . i dont know how to explain it more
but as i example b4 with skype . what if i want to make my own code that connect with skype server or same for yahoo or conquer or league of legends . how to know the encryption of those programs and then use iit in my own code ... that is the part im asking about and willing to pay for .

one more example when i asked for how to convert from hex to decimal . and i got a perfect answer how to convert between decimal to binary . and still dont know how to convert from decimal to hex ( just use calculators for it )

how can i find the encryption of conquer and use it in my own code to connect to game . ( even the fact is i do not want it for conquer . i want it for general use such as i explained b4 , skype , yahoo , or any other encrypted server) . i wish this time u will understand exactly what i need . ( still willing to pay for it )

1.- What u want would take quite a lot of time, people who has the knowledge are generally bussy people.
2.- There is a lot of information/guides/resources/tutorials about reverse engineering in the internet.
3.- U said that u have BASIC programming skills... not enough, cryptography is not that basic.
4.- u want 3 lessons... the last time i tried to learn with tutorials and 'crack me' programs(simply ones, it's a single word or a VERY SIMPLY algorithm to generate a word, a textbox and a button, nothing more) i took some days until i could understand how to do it, finally i left frustrated.
5.- if u don't pay before a lesson begins, hardly u will get a teacher here or in any place.

It's slightly inappropriate to ask for advice, then to demand that we spend hours with you at your convenience for what probably won't be a successful job when you don't like what we say. I understand that you might know the basics, but you need to know the details behind those basics before you start with cryptography. You don't seem to know about data types or about bits, the binary system, etc. You need to have an understanding of these things before anyone can teach you anything. There are guides that you can follow, which you aren't looking for. You can't expect all of the answers in life to come to you. Please spend more time researching on your own.

whoa wait what? So you want to make an app that decrypts stuff? There are a few things i dont understand.

- You say you have the basics of programming, but what language?

- You dont seem to know what a proxy is.

- You say us guys as if we all know how to decrypt conquer files (im not saying i dont know how.)

- you seem to be getting confused between encrypted files and open to the public web services that are acturly legal to use.

Conquer's files are not packed/encrypted, besides their crappy file encryption on a few of the binary files and the RSA crypto on server.dat?


Okay, since apparently no one knows what they're talking about (they "do", they just "don't want to" tell you), I'll give some basic information about cryptography... at least what I know from experience.

The point of encryption/decryption is to hide information. Cryptography algorithms can be one-way (for example, if the program only needs to decrypt an encrypted file) or two-way (if the program needs to encrypt and decrypt). To analyze an algorithm/routine you need to learn how to reverse the programs that use them (PEiD's Krypto Analyzer is a great plugin for detecting common algorithms though). All methods that these routines use have to be non-destructive, in other words, when decrypted, the data has to be exactly the same as before it was encrypted. Some of the common operations you'll see routines use at the lowest level are XOR, bit swapping, bit rolling/rotating, adding and subtracting without overflow, etc. These operations are used either with constants or pre-generated values. There are a ton of combinations and other operations; the algorithms use combinations of these things to further complicate the inner-workings. Theoretically, all one-way algorithms can be "cracked", aka reversing the methods they use to perform encryption/decryption (the one which wasn't intended), and the only reason this isn't technically possible is because of processing limitations.

There's solid basic information anyone who knows the basics of programming and who doesn't know what a proxy is can understand. Now of course I know a LOT more, actually I know everything about everything and the meaning of life, but I'm just not going to tell you. Also, you owe me $20, bb.

i never got an answer from you even like a year ago on private messages . u always used to answer the say meaning " go learn basics " ,"search and research" ,"none will teach you" and so on . believe or not . i was waiting for you to type the same words and i was very surprised that you didnt replay in the past few days xD , and to be honest i know u always right ... but right in a disappointing way .... and yet , u have no idea of what i know and if i know binary sys or not . even if what i know is still counted as basics .
beside i didnt ask for advice this time i asked for a teacher for money. maybe thats because i 100 percent sure that i will not get what i wanted for free specially here .

even basics of programming is kinda same for any programming language but lets say C# is my language . and what if i dont know what proxy is ?? !! does that change anything here ?

what i want is to make my own client and add the encryption and decryption codes in my own client .
i swear i do not want it for conquer but since you only here talk about conquer so i will ask it with conquer . u make ur own private server and add the encryption and decrytpion codes in your OWN private server . my question is > how to know the encryption .. how to know or where is it or so on ,do you understand me ?

thanks alot . u said it " im not going to tell you " everything before that is was told to me about 9 or 10 months ago in here , i just forget which thread it was... i thought it was in one of my little threads but it wasnt ... the funny is . it was told by also you :) .
but again my question was not about what is encryption . because even with analyzer tools PEiD and so on . i dont think that u will just know the alogarthm/rutine and then try to do a Guess which key is working to open the door .

Nope, you still have to reverse. The good thing about Krypto Analyzer is that you can find the crypto signatures and find the memory location that references them so that you can really reverse. If not, trace back from the send/receive calls (or anything that gets encrypted/decrypted) until you find the encryption/decryption routines. The key is most certainly used in these routines. Krypto Analyzer can sometimes even find the key creation routine location, so that makes it way easier for you. It's a process of trial and error and elimination (at least in my experience, but I know I don't do things in the "right" way). You have to painfully piece together this information when you want to create your own executable. Conquer uses OpenSSL (I haven't been on current CO in like 2 years though), and their implementations are open-source, so you can import their modules into your projects. Actually, if you want to learn about implementations of common crypto algorithms, download the OpenSSL source and check it out for yourself.

well lemme add my 2 cents, cryptology is pure math and it got nothing to do with programming, while you are not going to reinvent the wheel there is already pre-written libraries and source codes for how to implement some crypto, so the tutorials you will read all over the internet will mostly be simple background about how to implement it and not how it's done (also there is more books and tutorials of how it works underline but i don't think that would interest you)
but that's all is a piece of cake , the real problem is the requirements of implementing that crypto libraries into your programming application to make them functional which most of time requires knowing how it's implemented in the system you are trying to copy or interact with within a proxy bot or something, also about the keys and constants you would need to use which requires reverse engineering knowledge

so to sum everything up, you may not really get something from scratch about crypto without knowing how it works with re, and i won't lie it's not an easy job, i personally find it boring no matter what specially if i couldn't understand some routine , so what you should be learning now is reverse engineering and inaddition to that some tutorials of how to use openssl and other libraries for instance System.Security.Cryptography Namespace

all the resources are out there and there is no easy way :)

plus listen to everything Lateralus said, that would save you alot of time
