[Sun Sro] Res Issue

Hi,

Basically I want to have my sun sro client run at 1440x900 res. I have chosen this in the launcher options, however in-game this option doesn't appear. In fact no 16:10 options do which is really screwing my aspect ratio.

Does anyone know of anyway to change the res on the sun sro client to 1440x900?

What resolution do you have on your desktop before starting the game? It may affect the in game resolution, as it did for me in random games

hm i need to fix this problem too, i set 1650×1050 in Launcher, but when i Start the game, it is still 1024×768 and i cant set wide res in-game. My desktop res is 1680×1050. Thanks in advance

My desktop res is 1440x900.

Are there any commands I could add to the end of a target line on a short cut to change the resolution?

I have 1440x900 desktop too. And i dont know why, BUT i can play iSRO without Problems on 1440x900 resolution. Any Pserver starts with 1024x and i can change max. to 1170 (or something like that). Dont mather if i set 1440 in the client. Ingame i cant do it higher then this 11xx Resolution. Its kind of wierd.

lol.....u can't .It doesn't support wide screen resolutions.All u can do is play in windowed mode..My monitor supports 1680x1050 and i gotta play on 1280x1024.

Is it because of the silkroad version? So will it be fixed when euro update comes?

[Answer] Ok the game will only support up to 1280x1024 i believe and the reason why you res goes back to 1024x768 is because the sunsro files are like the csro files and encrypted so you cant save data like your settings.

this is not true, this guy called Mayfair or so had his resolution set to about 1680*1050, im pretty sure because of the screenshot he posted, the fonts are small and a very large screen .... but he wouldn't answer a pm of how to do it :/
