Here I want to share small but important information!
I spotted that many new pservers opening are implementing bulk seller (inside UniversalsXO 9999 selling)...
via search engine I found this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
and as well I was informed that there is something like this made by diablos6r aka Murtah..
Anyway this addon/guide/release (whatever) is just big hole into your server!!
Explanation of problem:
While you implement this to public in game you can be sure players will:
- use repair tool and will be fixing these 9999 items for free as many times as they wish to :) So in other words .... Composing for free as much as they wish!
I believe you all dont want it :)
Anyway there are 2 ways to fix this issue!
1) Don't implement this if you are not able to well operate in cq_itemtype and itemtype.dat (to change ID's!) nad not able to fix it now!
2) Change ID's of items you wish to use as stacked version in seller!
EXPLANATION OF STACKABLE items!
As you all noticed, not all items that are in game can be used as a stackable ... It all depends of range of ID that certain item has inside cq_itemtype and itemtype.dat!
For example:
ID: 410244 (weapon) - cannot be used as a stackable but can be fixed via "repair tool" in game! (amount columns play role as a durability)
ID: 813002 (Universal) can be used as a stackable one but can be as well fixed via "repair tool" in game!(amount columns play role as a number of items like in random portal etc)
ID: 1020000 (brand new one) - can be used as a stackable but cant be repaired (bug fixed!)(amount columns play role as a number of items like in random portal etc)
etc etc
I hope this will be helpful for those who already has something like this in game (to fix it before will be to late!) and for those who just are planing to implement something like this.
BTW - this should be as well helpful in making stackable EP cards by its own..
