Making Mob Spawns

hmm ive tried to make mobspawn but i never got the hang of it
any1 wanna go into detail about making them?

Look at your sql database and make a new mobspawns like X coords and stuff.. its all easy stuff geez.

how big can a mobspawn be?
is there a spawn max
or a only a certain amount of area can be a spawnpoint

No there is no max's.Well there is cause I think mob spawns are taken as uint so it wont be anything huge.
Make a little spawns ... How big can it be?
Log into the game and check the coords?
