Invisible Gear

Hello, i would like to know from where come the problem of Invisible gear for some armor or some parts No Modify in texture ?
I read about some topic and Castor was explain that when you modify the texture you should playing only with Hue... But i dont modify nothing , i replace them and still see invisible or partially invisible...

easiest way to fix that: leave it as it is and say that its a donation set which makes u invisible :0
if u've done the steps correctly, every single player will rage and troll dafuq out of ya. :3


OnTopic: Check the .dds files.
Upload them in client with LPH's DataFile Tool again.

the problem mostly occures due missing mlt files which wasnt implemented propper into the data.sah

i was done it verify dds.. a forcely i see the armor well in studiosh from castor, but in game some are invisible, as i told wedding female or some other top that i dont modify...

When i means invisible means that we see the border but not the plain texture for exemple about wedding we see the border of helmet but not the plain color so look invisible because we see only the face xD

for this i upload new other files not from my client still the problem same i replace the 3DC i nstudio all is ok in game as i explained...

I suggest you totally remake the data.sah & data.saf files. I've faced this bug a while ago, and this might fix it for you.

no need for that. u just need to correctly implement the mlt files/3dc and dds files.

I was just giving my best assumption, I'm not the client sided expert, I'm mostly focused on server sided stuff.

The mlt are done correctly because i could see the right armor with the right texture ...
I will trying making a new Data sah and saf because maybe some file are corrupted as texture because same i replace them by original one i saw it not really invisible its more transparent

i join you the case ... one scrren in game one in mlt i did only upper but i see well all the armor...

If the .mlt file contains the information relating to the name of the dds file as well as the name of the .3dc file then there should not be an error. I prefer to use SHAIYA_MAKE for intense client edits as it is easier to compile everything together (even though creating a patch will take longer).

As I see in your screenshot your error could exist in the item.SData, you may not have given the item piece a "model", in other words you have no defined what the piece will look like.

These are the most basic problems that you could be experiencing.

Hello Diavolino,

I know this error exactly.
I've edited a lot of armor some time ago.
Sometime some armor were invisible.
Many hours annoying search I found it.
It is the MLT files. Even if everything looks ok.
Replace with the OS files. And make a backup after each editing.

I will try by the same way to change the client to change in same time the mlt file them self...
And Da Boss i put well the model as you told it s the most basic to do :D but as this kind of armor its first time that i met it as for deprimo and other armor that never i edit as teddy told the mlt correspondance but they are okey to replace them as propose little
will let you know about that :)

invis gear means either the MLT is not set up right or the 3DC file is missing. if its the DDS file it would be white

Not always the case. Sometimes you have everything correct in MLT , .dds, etc and it still will not show up. What I have done when I have a bugged edit I am trying to add, is:
Delete it from Client
Open Texture from working file
Delete source texture after you load it in PhotoShop.
Save correctly , usually DXT5.
Import into client.
If you cannot see the texture by using the view option in LPH Data File Tool (right clik on the dds file) , then chances are you will not see it in game. If you can see it , and it does not show up in game, then they are correct , its the MLT file.

I don't know if you managed to fix the problem or not,but I faced this problem too and I think I have the solution for everyone around.
I have tried everything that everyone around here says,but my problem was the same as you,everything was set up ok but the client was not showing the armors or hairs,so here is what I did:

Check every .MLT file that you edited(where you added the new armors) and check the UNK column(edit them with ShaiyaStudio) and make sure everything is set to 1 !!!!
Hairs are a bit different,you can set 0 to some of them to make them look good,but some won't work with 0,so you have to set them to 1 to show up.

So everything on short:
Armors = Set 1 in the UNK column
Hairs = Set 0 or 1 (depending on the hair-some will work with 0 and some with 1)
