Summoner-Name Filter Bypass | All regions

Hello,

inspired by this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] , I tried to unlock the words for all regions, so that our foreign friends can have some fun with it too and it should probably work. :p

Note: This little bypass is for fun purposes only and not for racism or serious insulting. Keep that in mind.

Proof:

Regions:

de_DE = German, Germany

el_GR = Greek, Greece

en_AU = English, Australia

en_GB = English, Great Britain

en_US = English, United States

es_AR = Spanish, Argentina

es_ES = Spanish, Spain

es_MX = Spanish, Mexico

fr_FR = French, France

it_IT = Italian, Italy

ko_KR = Korean, Korea

pl_PL = Polish, Poland

pt_BR = Portuguese, Brazil

ro_RO = Romanian, Romania

ru_RU = Russian, Russia

tr_TR = Turkish, Turkey

Choose the file that matches your region and copy the file to:

Riot Games\rads\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.1. 35\deploy\assets\locale\App - The "0.0.1.35" may change after patches. Overwrite the old file with the downloaded one.

Words like "Riot" or variants of it will not work, because people would be able to use Riot names to scam other people and I will not support that.

Yea, there was an update but the files didn't change, so it should still work. You just have to replace the files again.

You have to explain your problem otherwise I can't help you. :p Did you download the correct resource file for your region? Did you copy the file to the correct path?

The patch today replaced the files, maybe this is the problem, then you have to download the resource again.

Edit: I added all resources in one packet (attachment) and if you are unsure what resource you need, simply go to Riot Games\rads\system\locale.txt and open the file. In it you'll find what you need.

Just curious if it only works for new summoners or also renames?

I haven't tried it but it works maybe. In my opinion it's stupid to buy a namechange to break the rules because sooner or later you will get punishment for that and then you wasted your money.

The namechange function maybe uses the same namefilter, so feel free to try it. :p

is their anyway to get like foreign characters such as korean letters in your summoner name, but not being on a korean server?

Yea, this is possible I think but players who don't use a korean language pack, will just see small boxes like this "[]" instead of the korean letters.

Start League of Legends and ignore the upcoming error message. Choose a name, avatar and skill level and close League of Legends.

Open the locale.txt again, change the content to the correct region and uncheck the "Read only" option.

This should work with Greek letters or what ever you want, too.

Awesome!

I remember, when I had on my status something like: "Fuck My Life", after some patches, they fixed it, but since I didn't change my status, I still had it.

Some bad day I had to reinstall League of Legends and I lost it... (Because it's saved on the comp u log on)

Finally I have it BACK!

You're welcome but I can change my status to what ever I want without bypassing the filter. :p I don't know why it didn't work for you but for me it works all the time, without any modifications.
