Lmao...you only think it's good because it's new. This server is a fail and always will be. Should I prove my point?

1. Madfoxes server specs are terrible, not even 1 GB of ram, must I go on? He's hosting it on his computer on a connection not even owned by him, his parents.

2. Madfox still hasn't yet learned anything about a db or client. Go check out the server and you'll see my point, didn't even need to bother downloading it.

3. How long has madfox kept the server online in the past? Not even a week?

Hum, I only wish that we could all stop with these noob servers and every1 start playing the same ones. The servers that have been up for years, and ones that have made updates.

stfu i dont care if i get an infraction about this but im not letting enyone talk about my server like that and if u want proof that im not hosting from my computer go ask TheCrasher he will tell u that dehost is hosting it so how the fuck wil u know u stupit brat get away and dont come back and we are doin changes and we have been up for 9 days 19 hours 50 minutes

eum, i dont know how smart you are but i dont think you can even start up a server if you dont have 1 GB ram to use (dedicated or virtual)

i cant say your wrong on that point , he dont know mysql that good , but he is learning it (or he need to ask his friend) but that isnt a reason to break him down
my first server tooks me 6 months to fix a lot of things , and i started from scratch to
if you like , i can give you some db of scripts you coulnd even figure out in 3 months of how you need to change a single thing o.O

i totaly dis agree with this 1
you say you like to play on old scool servers only , the die hard servers that keeps existing and refuse to die ... the good servers

but how you think you can survive that long if you refuse to even join a new server ?? that you dont give a change to a new server to become a old server ??

crasher this isn't a go at mad or his server but tbh I personaly dislike how servers rant about their 8-12gb of ram and dual/quad core CPU and 1-5tb of hdd space but forget to say what's dedicated ram what's hdd memory and what's shared, eg others using the same BOX with those specs being shared between 5-20 other companies/people. Then there is a shared internet connection.

Some also have their own dedicated connection but have no idea in the difference between network speed and actuall internet speed. e.g. 100mbps that's usually your network speed unless you get a gbs network setup (which is preferable for higher speed nets) then that's another problem they seem to brag about internet speed when it's either crippled by their network and/or upload speeds.

the most dont even know what server spects they actual need to have a good server
and it depends on the money you can spend on it to get a good server
thats why the most choose a vps , it got higher spects then a dedi , but sometimes is a dual dedi better then a Quad for a vps (it all depends from the vps program and from the users on it )

but the thing i meaned with my post is that he dont need to break down some1 when he dont even know anyhting of it
thats why i posted my server spects :P

and your right to on the sharing , the spects are from my server with a few clients on it so if you split it in to the clients then you see that it goes down a bit

normal to explain the dedi ram , the dedi ram is what you actual have ( my case 8 GB , my users use 256 mb - 1 GB of it , so a max of 7 users @ 1 GB on 1 server)

the swap is just disk space , it doesnt mather if i got 5TB space or 1 TB space , because they never get used (clients get 25GB - 100GB space , max that is used it 700GB @ 100GB per client )

but the things that do mather is the cpu speed , if you got a single core or a dual or a quad
depending on what cpu the clients use does it mather if you got certain spects for it

then to answer to network speed , 100mbs/s is just 10MB download peak that you can get
unlike other persones that thinks that they can download a torrent of 4GB in 2 min
and network speed isnt the only factor , even if i got a TB line , then you cant use it at all (is good for vps servers , they got all full speed) but it get limited by your own conection , by the websites that cant handle that speed and so on

thats why 100mb/s is a standart , the most websites use it and higher is just useless because you cant get taht speed (exept like websites as rapidshare that need them to give full download speed)

so basicly , its a lot of work to figure all this things out to get a good computer :D
