You can't play it on 1600x1200
I mean, you can but you'll have to use 1280x1024.
Private SRO servers are as shitty as they are. Can't help it :)
I wouldn't pother playing in them at all, coz they are really unstable ._.

Which private server Silkroad are you using?

There must be a way, Like using a macro for example.

But then again. It might just be stretched out. And still looks like crap

I have that one too so I took a look at it. It's possible to make it your own desired size, but the problem then becomes the user interface. Older versions of the game only have a limited amount of GUI layouts for specific resolutions, so unless those files are added to the PK2 files, then you will be limited to what they provide.

For example, here's an image I took after making the client use my resolution of 1920 x 1200:

As you can see the problem, I can only use that 1024 x 768 portion because that's what the client was using. If I made the client use a predefine GUI of the 1600 x 1200 it would work for me, but not for you because you can only see 1050 pixels vertically.

Since the PK2 file loading system seems to be different as well at first glance there's not much you can really do for now. I'm sure they made a small modificationto break existing pk2 tools As ZotoM mentioned the older clients are kinda crappy!

Your best bet is to play in windowed mode at 1280 x 1024 or 1024 x 768 so it doesn't look as bad as it does in fullscreen mode. At least in windowed mode it's crisp. Use Alt + Enter to switch to windowed mode.
