[Release] Translated DIV and PAK Tools [.div/.pak]

07/07/2009 12:55 HellSpider#1
Hi. Here are some Chinese tools that I've translated to English in order to make them easier to use.

-- 07.07.2009 ----------------------------------------------

+ Uploaded the PAK Tool
+ Uploaded the DIV Patch Tool

-- 12.06.2010 ----------------------------------------------

+ Uploaded the DIV Update Tool

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got a Chinese PAK-Tool and translated it to English. Everything in it is now translated, except for the things that can't be translated.

I've written and compiled a .chm Help-file to give advice on how to use it. It's included in the package.

This tool has options of extracting files and packing them again. You can also modify or replace files inside the pack without extracting and repacking them.

Additional thanks to ItsNobody for sending the original PAK Tool to me :).

Virus scanners will detect the PAK Tool as trojan! I haven't noticed any malicious actions in this application and personally think that this is completely safe to use. However I cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage caused by this application! It's up to the user to choose if he/she will use this or not!

This is the second Chinese application that I've translated. It's a tool for making patches to the PAK files in the form of DIV files. This is completely translated and this time I didn't include any help file because it's too obvious how to use this.

This application is capable of extracting already existing DIV files and packing files to DIV files. I haven't found any errors in this application. If you find any you can post below.

Additional thanks again to ItsNobody for sending the original one to me (the Chinese one).

This is the "128kb DIV update tool" translated from Chinese to English, or lets say most of it is. Some text strings are still uncomprehensible but the most imprtant things are in English now.

Seriously. Only a decent ability to understand english is enough. Then you have to know what a patch is too...

Read the first post, don't just download...

I said that you can unpack DIV files with this. And you can pack files into DIVs too.

Its both..you can unpack and pack div files

Nice job on translating the tool bro, When i get the data.pak packed, I'll release a tut with it including your tools. I still have one more div packer you might want to translate...if not to release at least for meh :) It's one that HAS to be in the update folder inside webman. When i release the tut it will be: server files (with all the directories and everything you need including webman),client and tools to release patches. You guys are getting it easy...i had to learn these programs on my own in chinese. You guys better be thankful for a guy like Instant

Yes you can pack files into DIV files and then send them via an update channel. Then the launcher unpacks them and binds them to the packfile. You can do that manually too with the PAK-Tool I released in an other thread.
