Hello epvperz!
Today i wanna make an discussion about private silkroad gameplay recording software!
So for a start, what do you think is most popular but noob friendly recording program?
What is one of best recording software that is free?
And if possible, gimme links to those :)

fraps for proper quality, everything else for beginners.

If you do it, start doing it in a good way, dont start with taking shots with low quality.

OBS works fine for me, and the output file is already compressed, so the quality is still great and the video sizes are not a bunch of GB like with Fraps.

fraps delivers high quality files, they will fit on any decent capacity HDD, if you don't have enough free space you can get a 2TB samsung green HDD for a couple of bucks, it will last you years.

If you really want high quality material, and you know what you are doing (when you are going to edit/compress/master it) fraps is probably the best choice, or you can use hardware solutions

You can use Fraps, just set the recording quality to lower than what it already is. A video of 1-2 minutes will be about 900mb

Fuck Fraps, it's the shittiest choice you could go with. Dxtory with the proper codecs does miracles - doesn't consume a fuckton HDD space, allows you to customize lots of things and isn't as cpu & gpu intensive as fraps.
