Servers or Mods using ip bans?

I would like to know if it's save to use in same network and therefore same IP address a pc completly legit and another with hacks but for sure different key.

So has anyone ever got banned like this? Or is it 100% sure that only the key of the hacking pc will be banned? I could use a vpn, but that makes it quite laggy.

I'm sorry if this issue has already been discussed, my searching skills are usually quite good, but couldnt find any related thread.

no ip too you need only to restart your router that is enough

No, this will not effect the BE detection rate.
The IP is not even logged by battleye - you can play with a other, hacking, player in the same lan.
