how to change limit of items in intemtype.dat

Before anyone feels bad, I did all the research, but not found, the only topic that has not change it so the Encina says to change.

I wish someone explain me how to change the limit.

there is no limit unless you're talking about the "hex limit" (4,228,250,625)

the program that was made was poorly made xD so it can't do more then 5k items for some reason I don't see why they would choose 5k
