Graphics Card

Does having good graphic card help you run 2 kals?My computer has adequate memory, etc. But an outdated graphics card, If i buy a better one will I be able to run more kals?

Hm not sure...Kal depends on alot of memory...had on a Athlon 2000+,1gb ram,6600gt (agp) with 3 times Kal 50fps ~ on each... Now i have with a x2 ( 2*2.4ghz) , 4gb ram,8800gt ( pcie) 70fps~ on each..( depends on the Location + population,in temp or so its bit slower).

So i guess its not only the graphic card which is necessary. Dont forget the Harddrive,an old Harddrive ( 5400rpm,IDE ) slow down your pc extremly.

Make the graphic settings from the twinks to extra low,this will get you some Fps extra.You got a onboard graphiccard? or just an old one? Is it Pci or Agp ? Usually you should be able to run Kal 2-3 times on an "old" pc like i wrote alrdy without any probs.But you should have atleast 1Gb Ram i would say.

Maybe a Card will help,but idk if this will help you that much ;)

Igot 2gb RAM.ATM not on my computer to check,but a friend of mine said all I need is a better graphics card.

Kal is an old game which only need old card.i think gforce mx400 or fx5200 or r9600 or r9550 is enough.2gb ram is good for xp but you can add to 3gb or 4gb if your system is vista or win7(can win7 support the game?).if you change your card to very expensive like hd4870 or gtx260+,i think you only can play the game very very good fps,not online the game for a shop or party lvl.btw Athx2 or x3 or x4 or e6 e8 q6 q8 may be better.i very like q6600 old or x3 x4 new.you also can up your hdd to ssd.aha.Money!!!!!that is.

i use GForce Mx4000 and always was hard for me to play at war xD....and cant play or see close the Emok boss kill...cause my game looks like im downloading the view lol XD

well not rly, its possible tho it d be easier with a dual core cpu

and mines a quad i`m guessing

No you have a standart Single Core Cpu,Pentium 4 dont mean you have 4 Cpu's,its just the name of the Cpu :D

But hm,usually your System should easylie handle 2 Kal's. post your Graphiccard and maybe Defrag your System,get tuneup Utilities and scann your Pc+clean it up. Let Kal run in Window mode.

You can run 2 kals or is it just too laggy to play ?
