[3D] Work in Progress

Hey guys, I started playing gw2 3 weeks ago or something like that, I became really big fan of that game. I like the art, design, graphics and specially the 3D work. So I decided to re-create the gw2 logo, the dragon behind "Guild Wars" but in 3D. I just wanted to show you my progress:

As you see, re-creating it in 3D is not very simple tho. Here's video of some progress:

You know there is vector-data inside the Asset-Kit ? ... looks like you drew the entire thing from a pixel-based reference :eek: ... extra work but still impressive :awesome:

Yeh I know. But I was bored and I wanted to try out my 'lines' skills in 3Ds max. =P

I never worked with 3DsMax ... can you draw/drag the lines like in the Adobe-Series ?
How is the "feeling" with the software overall ? :p
