Difference between a "newb" and a "noob":
"Newb" and "Noob" sound very similar, but they are both different.
A Noob is one who flames, begs, and asks questions that were already answered in another topic/guide/ in a FAQ, or repeats the same question over and over again. In Grand Chase, "noobs" would be considered those who can't take a loss as a loss. Sometimes, they will unbalance the teams and rules, such as making the room for lvl 1-20, but uses a lvl 28. They may not have no manners too. >=O
A Newb is what you SHOULD be when you start out. A newb is one who just started, ready to learn more, and asks rather than begs. Newbs will never go "Let me kill you for quest!" or anything of that kind. Newbs aren't obnoxious, annoying, and lame like noobs. ;D Now, because Newbs are newcomers, they, of course, won't know everything, so they will ask. Like everyone, firebolt spamming would be considered most advantageous. They don't know it's not a good thing to do at first, but will understand not to do it when told. They wouldn't know how to switch skills either. These are some of the things which noobs and newbs may not know.
If you have to choose to be one of these, BE A NEWB!
Dungeon Running:
Dungeons are a great way of exp in the early stages! Fast, and easy if you have a great party! Sometimes you want to level fast, so you go to a higher level dungeon.
If you are not close to the recommended level by at least 3 levels, always use the room list instead of Quick Join. Some room hosts set a level for their room titles: "Lvl 20+ Only!~". If you are level 17 and you join that room, obviously you will be kicked, and hated for not reading the room name.
Noob: A noob will constantly enter a room where they see they can survive longer, or in fact, not die at all. Even after getting kicked, they may still join the same room, to beat the dungeon with the higher levels without doing practically anything. After being kicked, they may whisper the room host and starting cussing and swearing, etc. At times, noobs will go "HEEL MEH PL0X!".
Newb: A noob will use the Room List and will avoid rooms where they do not meet the requirement. They fully understand that they should not enter the room, and won't. Newbs will not make rooms with high level requirements which they don't meet themselves. When a heal is needed, they either use a potion, first check if the mage notices, or asks kindly like "May I please get a heal? ^^"
PvP (Team Match):
But I wanna be on the good team!
Noob: Almost always, will join the advantageous teams. Well, you can't blame them, they only want to win, but this annoys people, especially when they uneven the teams. When in battle, they do practically nothing but run and charge MP for lvl 3 skill. May use hated gameplays like "firebolt spamming". If a noob is the host, they will kick all high levels that aren't on their team. Noobs may brag when they win.
Newb: Will go to their own class (e.p: Middle Class) rather than joining a Free Class. A newb's PvP Style is not "Cheap" to people. They will not run and do nothing for the round, they will help their team in defeating the opposing team. Will not kick people inappropriately.
PvP (Survival):
I'll just run away till I'm one of the last!
Noob: They will avoid being anywhere NEAR a player. If host, they will choose maps that they can run freely in, or where their opponents cannot run at all. If the person wins, they may brag.
Newb: Will keep trying their hardest to take down all the opponents. Does not brag when they win, and may choose standard maps like Elven Forest.
Chat Logs:
I NEED HELP WITH UNLOCKING RONAN DAMMIT!
Noob: Will beg others to help them. Will add high levels to their friends lists, though it's the first time they saw them. Will flame others if they want to. Noobs may chat about inappropriate things.
Newb: Will not beg, but ask kindly for help. Would ask their friends to help, rather than complete strangers. Doesn't swear or flame.
Rawr, that ends my short guide. (._.) Remember people:
