Just a suggestion but have you tried installing it under Wine? I use Ubuntu but I haven't tried to install CO on it yet I mainly use it for other stuff than gaming

Well we all have our own preferences, I just prefer Ubuntu cause it was the first I used and I came to like it. Plus most of the stuff I do on the pc I use windows for anyways so no need to try another OS just wanted to dual boot the two for separate things I do.

I see your side as well, considering backtrack was my first linux OS. Ubuntu is much more user/home friendly. backtrack is geared more toward hacking than usability =]

I use to run linux, but the fact that the client doesn't even run properly #fails.

Switched to vista, now using XP

XP totally rapes vista =]

Linux won't support the client or any public source.
