The game isn't in 3D at all, it's just the model; and conquer online has always been like that (just with really bad graphics). All they're doing is stepping up the graphics a bit. The cities themselves, and all of the game is still in 2D with perspective to fake a 3D world.

It's highly likely it will be.

Conquer is profitable so they keep just adding new random crap. Conquer "3" is really just the same as conquer 1.0->conquer 2.0 which added a couple minor features and a new interface.

Conquer 3 is really just slightly updated graphics and POSSIBLY some game balance re-works (although it's unlikely they will seeing as it would likely ruin part of their market )

They might make Conquer 3 balanced in the start, but I give it 2 weeks and bulkers already got the advantage.

loved all the bulkers back in conquer 1.0 that still got their asses kicked..

The funny part about the first vid is it said 3d characters, characters have always been (semi) 3d. If you look at the change from 1.0 to to 2.0, it was only some updated graphic models and a new interface if i remember correctly.

But a 3d conquer wouldn't be that hard, and i think even fb/ss could be used with it(not that i know if anyone still uses it). TQ would pretty much have to design everything from scratch tough.

CO3 wud be a failure and it wont bring many new clients
