New Hackshield behavior?

Well as of last update any change to client.exe or pleione.dll, standard.dll, etc will make your client to display a Server cant be reached message kicking you out, YES i did fix the crc32 for testing, it will always do this, even with no hacks/mods loaded, discuz!

Easy.

Re-Install Mabinogi, then install the newest ijl, set everything except zoom and data folder to zero. Then get jinsu 125 and patch your mabi folder. AFTER Jinsu 125 patched your folder, do the same with jinsu 37.

Done, all mods work again!

Thanks for the reply Asiate, but i use dll injection, the ijl mods are not blocked (HS dont cares about the ijl, made in 2002 x3) he cares about the other files, the ones i need to touch x3.

Oh.

...Sorry...

So did I get this right, you injected and then you got the "server cannot be reached" message? Did this happen afterwards without injection?(well yea you said even without hacks loaded)
When injecting dll into core files, you gotta be careful because you can quickly screw the adresses in the memory and either 1. have the connection go to hell or 2.have the encryption hump the fence.

But thats not the problem I think.
If you inject into e.g. client.exe HS will do checksum and punch you out.
This is no new behavior by HS, maybe just wasn't implemented in mabi yet.

Also are you using a premade injector or did you code your own?

No, what happens is, if i change even one jnz to jmp hs will detect the change somehow, never seen this before for mabi.

there's nothing wrong with the mod, the old ones still work

what is wrong is multiclient

make sure u stop multiclienting and get a clean client.exe from people

ok well THAT is weird O.o
still you tell me what injector youre using.
Did you make your own?
I think the "CreateRemoteThread" method is ftw.
So maybe try another injector or another method.
And maybe it has something to do what you change into jmp.
Can't really tell much about without trying myself, but you can do some trial&error research :D

Yea i tested it in Japan just now and it injects there but not in NA, going tru the client and dll files of the NA install i can see whats the problem, to make the story short they are checking the dlls that load in runtime, anything out of place and your pwnt (this dont includes ijl which is the most used by the normal mods, the others: pleione, mint, standard, etc are all checked)

Example u alter a jump in hackshield error messages but you actually don't activate that specific error, all run fine, when the hs jumps to that error because you are actually hacking it will detect the internal change and close the client.

2- They added the hearthbeat feature of HS pro <.<;.... thats bad enuf by itself

Seems they will soon enought also add HSpro to at least the Japan version, they just missing some chunks of code on client and dll but is all there..

Btw this same reason is why multi clienting is not posible atm

That's a real problem... >> I'm done with my finals soon so I'll look up some ideas from GameDepticon how to bypass this s.o.b HS.

I hope they add the same functions to japan mabi, There's a team in jp mabi thats doing Bypasses and stuff for mabi =).

So if that happens maybe they will make a bypass for it.
