[help]mysql problem

everytime i try to set up mysql when i come to the configs it wont start the server after i have finished the configs anyone know wats going on

Can you connect to you database using navacat.

Also make sure mysqld.exe and/or mysqld-nt.exe is open (In processes)

Also make sure you didn't override your MySQL with something like XAMPP or the TQ Binaries, because they add their own and it's outdated.
