400 online players is Lag Problem

400 online players is lag.
How to be installed on a machine?
How many ram should be ?

you need i think 8 or 16gb for 500+ not sure but increase RAM thats what holds most people back

What is your internet connection speed?and how many gameservers?only 1?

I think 16GB is enough for 1000 people and increases

try adding in one more gameserver and agent and those stuffs and if that wont work its your providers fault of somesort

you need SSD, this is not about ram

With 16gb rams you could keep 1200 players..
Lag's shouldn't appear .. So I think it's all about bandwidth..
A second thing you should do is:
Go to your power settings and set it on max options otherwise speed step is enabled ,and ur cpu goes down to 70% usage a lot the option is on "balanced" usually,then make an inspection and delete the raid1 thats enabled and make it cross raiding ,that will increase the read and write capacity to ur HDD.
Then make a sql limit for 15gb ram and delete urlog db and resotre a clean one again dont trucate also dont use mssql express.
