Video Card issues with SJSRO

In SJRO I am constantly getting weird graphical anomalies and distortions and eventually VPU Failures. However I never get these problems in ISRO or even in ECSRO. I don't get any issues with any other game. I have already updated my drivers and directx. WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE!!

It got so bad that this morning after spending 2 hours trying to connect to the fucking game, once I finally got in with SIBI Bot working, by the time I got to my training area I suddenly out of the blue got 10 VPU Recoveries in a row to the point that I had to force the game closed with task manager, and at that point my video card would not even initialize.

As far as I am aware SJSRO uses the same exact client as ECSRO right? So why all of these issues with SJSRO but no problems with ECSRO?

I am not to sure on what VPU is or has to do with the problem, my idea is that maybe there is a problem with your media.pk2 that creates problems with your graphics card, my possible fix would be to try a different media.pk2.

uninstall drivers.. use drivercleaner pro in safe mode... install newest drivers... enjoy not getting vpu recovery anymore =] using drivercleaner pro is an EXTREMELY important step because lots of dll's and driver related files stay on your system even after you install a newer one... causing errors.. the only way to completely fix it is to use drivercleaner pro in safe mode AFTER you uninstalled the drivers you have currently installed.

the artifacts and distortions are because of tabbing between windows... sro was never meant for multi-client to begin with.. so errors happen often when multiclienting

Well I havn't multi-cliented once in the P-Servers yet(gets too laggy sometimes for just one client) so that is not the case. But yes I was thinking to reinstall the new driver again after clearing the old ones completely as you mentioned. I thought that might be the case, thanks for the tip. When I feel like not being too lazy I will give it a shot and report how it goes.
