ECSRO Launcher not working

I can't get my launcher to say anything but 'silkroad online launcher has stopped working'. And ECSRO.NET or the forums are no help. I tried restarting and reinstalling but neither work. Any ideas or solutions?

go to cmd type in this ipconfig/release
then after 15 seconds type in ipconfig/renew and open ecsro once it says your internet is back
it happens to me too when a server is down

You on Vista? Try running as administrator.

If Not. Hmmm.. Check anti virus system, disable it or add exceptions to the ecsro folder.

If this fails, Try downloading a different media.pk2.

My antivirus already has exceptions for SRO and ECSRO. I'll try a new media.pk2

It seems to have worked, for about 15 seconds. Now it does it again... Sorry for the double post but, is ECSRO down?

It shouldnt, if server is off it should just come up saying, 'the server is undergoing updates' etc etc. Are You using any other modded pk.2's?

No modded pk2.s, just the one of ecsro.net/download.php

ECSRO will be offline for undefined time. We are working on it. Sorry.
Webevent-items will be transfered to all servers when ECSRO is back online.

I may have figured out the solution.
I downloaded and installed all of the patches with winZIP .zip when they were all .RAR (WinRAR) I'm reinstalling everything with winRAR and i'll edit the post to see if that works. Thanks everyone.

It seems to have worked. Now i just have to wait for ECSRO to be online again >.<

the problem isnt from the pk2 files its from the launcher itself there is only 1 fix that i know of and it consists with the first post i made on this thread
