How to find the Altitude distance in Aion?

How to find the Altitude distance in Aion?
do you use X, Y, Z from player and target? or is there an specific offset for that?

I cant figure out how to use the x,y,z to get the altitude.

Ive tried regular vector addition but it doesn't work.

Z is the altitude

Altitude in Aion means the distance from player to another in the x,y,z plane not the height difference.

I've tried Math.sqrt( x^2 + y^2 + z^2 ) but its always off by more than 2 digits
