Buy p boxes and trade for scroll.
Buy lvl up package II and sell the Januses for scroll.
This way cheaper than buying an actual scroll.
Even cheaper but more work is buying from here for $4 per scroll.
Once u got scrolls, I would say buy some uniqs for your lvl.
Mage lower lvl need +1 stuff so 2 int. Shuta and int. Kark are quite cheap now.
If u have more, get a hestia.
Later on no need to change to int. Blodes, just keep going till u can use int.ohkies and int. Luke.
Use as much of the free lvl up stuff as u can, like when u get a shuta or kark for 5 days, grind/farm as much as u can, I usually lvl up quick enough to get the next uniq while still got the last one.
Use lens for buff only for low lvls.
Start using wc pots lens and toa if u grinding in bg cause of pkers and mobs are tough there.
Do some shouts for cheap lens combi suits toa if u got some spare gold, mages use very little mana now so u should have some gold saved up.
If no1 sells, then use wcp to buy wot u need, the lvl up 2 package and pvp2 package is good value considering wot u get, if u want to try ur luck get 10 p box race or common, u might get some uniqs there or a p ticket or even a gt :)
Once in HH then it's full wc else u r wasting ur precious time grinding.
Lens combi suit toa sera Janus pet and HH+abs gear.
Mage is popular now so parts can be expensive.
Just sell everything u don't need + buy scroll with gold if any1 is selling.
cf realm is not worth much now, as every1 wants Abs for 1-2 scrolls more so I don't recommend farming too much in cf.
Of course u can take the battle square route but lvl 70-80 is pk heaven as ppl farm the orb thingys from boss.
Old ice light poison is good as hardly any1 farms there but time consuming as mobs are hard, so again wc is needed.
